I am guessing like everyone else, but I'd be very surprised if Moyes was their Plan A for June. It doesn't come across as a long term strategy?Interesting question, but I don't think so. They might have gone a different path, if they brought Dyche over the line till the end of the season in summer what was probably their plan initially.
Surely not a Allardyce, Pulis, Dyche type of appointment, despite at first he has to secure survival.
Get Jo on !Make a change Moyes!
This wouldn’t have been their plan but they are in it for the long game so if Moyes keeps the team up and we stay mid table for two seasons then they have the stability and tv revenue to keep their investment safe while sorting the commercial deals and can arrange their long term vision and manager. It’s probably just delayed their plans a bit but they won’t care as long as we stay up.
Im not so sure this wasn’t their plan overall to be honest, even in the summer.

“not sure”
nobody is or will know
Spurs are not a very good team. They are a mid-table side being managed by a walking ideologue soon for the sack. Moyes is here to improve on his predecessor. We cannot afford any more "expected defeats". Every game from here on in will help define our season. We threw away too many points in the first 10 matches to have the luxury of picking and choosing our games to target.
This is the problem though isn't it. People were happy to sit there and give dyche time because "he'll keep us up" but now moyes is in people want him to win every game or they'll be on his back.
The next 3 games are very difficult games we could get 9 points or we could get 0. Fact of the matter is all were looking from this season is to stay up and these 3 games wont be the deciding factor of that ambition.
Its not about picking and choosing its about being realistic. We can't suddenly exspect to beat every team in the league just so people can use it as a stick to beat Moyes with if we dont.
We won 3 games so far this season. If moyes wins 6 he'll of doubled dyches tally and hot us safe so thats all im looking for from everton this season
Told you I would be surprised if it wasn’t him!![]()
I agree about the Spurs. Not in good form at all. Mostly recent historical name recognition making us think they’re more than they are at the moment.
TBH mate, if (BIG IF) they had a long term Plan A for June ( i.e. go for Frank, Iraola or whoever) I'd be a bit surprised and concerned if Dyche jibbing it made them change that plan in it's entirety. He surely wouldn't be a number 1 candidate in summer with probably a lot of options, I thought I corrected the might to would, but apparently didn't. But now they appointed Moyes, I don't think they will bin him in summer, unless results don't go well at all or something like that.
