Our midfield is far to slow and haven’t got the ability to pass or open play up. We aren’t gonna create goals/chances with that midfield or wingers. Seriously need pace in the middle and someone who can open play up. We’ve got 3 right backs and that’s not an issue right now.

That midfield is weaker than least year and it was t great then. Jesus - even Andre gomes offered something different at times last year. Neither of the three we have can control a game.

Literally his very first game after getting the job 4 days ago. Give him a minute like..

Who would you have picked in their places?

If we're going to persist in Mangala/Gana then we couldve gave Lindstrom a go ahead of them instead of donkey Doucoure, could easily have played a 3 and gave Paterson a start at RWB.. and we couldve played Bergovic instead of Harrison and we wouldve turned the ball over less.

Most cynical thoughts today Moyes would go 451, Doucoure number 10, Harrison right wing, Young and Myko at fullback, we’d struggle to create, leave DCL isolated and look much the same as we did under Dyche.

I hoped I was wrong and Moyes might pull a surprise but sadly not, he is still that predictable.

Midfielder need overlapping runs from quality full backs in order to thrive...mangala, garner and tim are all very good midfielders...we need movement around them including the full backs

I get your point but them 3 midfielders aren’t creative at all. Them two positions will need sorting in the summer.

Exactly and that’s why we need them over a RB and LB right now. Got nobody who can control the team.

Need to give Armstrong more game time, that was a hell of a pass he put through for the goal the other day, nobody else is playing that imo. We also need more passing in general through the team, especially in the final third of the pitch.

I thought we had more bite going forward, but still don't have the personnel required to score goals.

The stats on BBC show a more even picture than how it felt watching.

I would have preferred Beto and Jake to have come on nearer the 60 min mark though.

Can do bugger all in the few minutes they got.

Back five of Patterson, O’Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Young
Middle three of Mangala, Gana, N’Diyaye
DCL in the Cahill role
Beto up top

Keep it tight at the back and either pump in crosses or just launch it

Totally agree but he’s very inexperienced right now and he was playing against
Peterborough but that’s the type we need right now.
