2024/25 David Moyes

I was hugely opposed to his return, and saw nothing in the performance tonight to make me feel any different.

He picked pretty the identical side and tactics Dyche would've picked had he still been in charge. For starters why on earth would anyone pick Harrison on the right where he's stunk the gaff out all season? If you're still going to play him then give him a go in his true position on the left and Doucouré ffs? What does this guy have to do to get rightly dropped?

And throwing the players under the bus in that interview and not taking any responsibility himself is not a great sign but hey ho he said 'we' and 'us' in his pre match press conference which got the easily pleased all giddy so all's well with some I suppose.
When he says we and us he means him and people like me. And other loyal evertonians.

He doesn't mean them bums out on the pitch.

I hope he rips them all a new ***hole. These players need it.
He will eventually drop about 4 or 5 of them and make magic from the rest and his own signings. Dont be suprised when a big club comes in for one of the players playing tonight in a few years.

“I can see now exactly what I’ve got”, not come in to sugarcoat things has he.

Upfront and hit the nail on the head.

If he didn't think some of these players were absolute dossers, he's seen it with his own eyes tonight. He better be on the blower to TFG and have Mr Conk pinned against a wall demanding AT LEAST 3 players.

If you didn’t know Moyes was in the dugout you’d have thought Dyche was still manager! Same team, same subs, pretty much everything was the same!
That was not the same tonight at all.
1, Moyes had our fullbacks going past the halfway line.
2, we looked like the home team for once.
3, we created chances, yes not great but still created them.
4, possession stats we had more.
5, it wasn't just hoof ball.
6, subs were not the same 56 min, Dyche would never do that he would wait until the 75th then pull Harrison.
he would have also swapped beto for DCL, and not play them both
