Whilst he may not have made everton, we certainly wouldn't be in the better, healthier position we are in now if it wasnt for him.

And you know this, how?

Any competent manager could have "achieved" what Moyes did at Everton.

So we regularly finish above WBA, West Ham, Fulham, Sunderland, Norwich, Newcastle etc.

As we have done almost every season since league football began during Queen Victoria's reign.

Every team below us, bar Liverpool and Villa, have played in a lower league this century.

We are entitled to be way ahead of those teams in terms of stability and income.

Everton under Moyes are no better than they ought to be,

Wow.

Even after being appointed manager of, arguably, the world's biggest club, and being hand picked by, arguably, the world's best manager of the last 20 years, there are still Evertonians who are convinced Moyes is no good.

It is a bit weird.

Is it any different to us paying the players to sit on a beach?

Yes because they come back to serve the club that's called a holiday evidently we have released him from his contract some has posted so he will work at Unt & at Finch Farm till our new manager is appointed so BK has till July to appoint a new Manager!

Moyes was at Carrington at 9.20 this morning taking 'training'. Why would we possibly want him at Finch Farm from this moment on. He should not have been allowed anywhere near anything to do with Everton from the moment he agreed to join United. I hope we are not paying him until the end of June. The more I look at this whole business, the more I think Moyes knew at Christmas exactly what was going to happen. What happened to asking a club if you can approach their manager? If United did ask, then BK is complicit in the conspiracy. If United didn't ask permission to speak to Moyes, is that not tapping up ? I hope and think that Moyes will be a disaster at United, and within 12 months he'll be managing Dundee United or the like. Why would any Evertonian want Moyes to do well at United? the worse he does, the more chance we have of Europe next year.

They've got to keep beating their drum, as the fact that arguably the game's best ever manager, has chosen him to take over his mantle, is a major embarrassment to their assessment of his supposed lack of ability.

This. If we are paying him to effectively work for united, then that is a major pi55 take and is quite frankly disrespectful.

I also agree that he knew exactly what was going on. Ferguson made the decision to retire at christmas, are you telling me that he/united waited until May to go after their chosen man?? No chance as this would have risked Moyes signing a new contract and them having to pay big compo. He knew months ago

Moyes knew Christmas or before, and unfortunately Steve, your hero Bill would have known as well. It's disappointing to realise that your club is run on cronyism, those at the top creaming money out of it, looking after each other, with no regard to the supporters or their opinions.

The Martinez interview will either implicitly or explicitly be about seeing if he's the type to go along with these current arrangements. If not Stubbs/Neville will be the abortion of a decision that Bill will take.

The bitterness is strong in this one.

Moyes has been given a £36m contract to manage the world's biggest football team. And you've been convinced he is rubbish for years. That has to be humiliating for you?

Bit difficult to take training when the season has just ended.
