I have serious question marks with this move...

Dele Ali is no one's equivalent to Tosun or Bolassie - be serious.
Ali was an exceptional player who has gone badly off the boil - everyone can see that's a risk, but he's proven. Tosun and Bolassie were established average players who could never be good if they played a million years of football.
I expect a hugh change in the lineup next weekDon't see how Alli and Vdb fit into the same 11. Going to be very interesting to see next week's line up. I would imagine it wud be a 4-3-3
..... and are they some sort of secret?I have serious question marks with this move...
Ali was never exceptional … 67 goals in 230 odd games is not exceptional… he plays as a midfielder like Cahill used to… basically as a second striker but without all the defensive qualities that Cahill had in our own box
A well run business should always budget for the worst case scenario (within reason). In our situation relegation is definitely within reason, so yes we should be very aware of that when budgeting.
Its about the potential of the player mate for me, he seems someone who needs to have that manager who is fully behind him, and really this is the first time since Pocch he has that.
The Alli of 22 talent wise but with the experience of having crashed before getting it back, for me that's why it's exciting.
It may not happen, but by God it's good to at least have a player who could. (Same way Gray has been the second best thing this season after Gordon)
Just have a great feeling about this one mate, both him and VdB actually
