Think they will very rarely play togetherDo you think they can play together, or would we be too open? That's my only concern.

they don’t play in the same position, Alli is a proper CAM. Donny’s natural position has always been an 8/Box to box. The issue United often had was seeing him as the ‘Bruno backup’ when he was never that guy. Donny is much closer to Doucoure (more technical less overly physical) and Alli is Sig’s younger, more mobile, less noncey replacement. They can easily play in a 3 with Alli playing a bit more advanced and Allan holding. We needed another CDM for sure but we were desperately lacking creativity and goals from the center, Alli can be thatActually Alli's arrival is bad news for de Beek, he may get sidelined now at times. Which is an awful news ? We didn't need someone else in Alli's position imo. We should have addressed other areas.
Looked more like a flawless victory to me.
Do you understand the structure of the deal? The chances of us paying £40m is remote.Hmmm.. before you start mouthing off and being a keyboard warrior … I’m not backward or Aussie …you do realise that people move countries in their life if they want to don’t you?
Second….do you think ali is worth any sort of fee like 40m. If we sold Richy we would probably get 50?
DCL was being touted at 60m ? These are our two most sellable assets and are important players for us… ali has been frozen out by 3 managers , has hardly played and has done f all for about 2 years, is on massive wages and they want him out … he’s their equivalent to our bolasie , gomes , tuson etc …. As in we can’t shift them …. 40m is ridiculously expensive for him .
You rarely see players turn it around though. Think it’s a desperate signing but we’ll see
He 'was' exceptional, his first 3 seasons at spurs he averaged 12 goals and 9 assists in the PL between the age of 18-21, he has since fell off a cliff and thats the reason we have been offered him.Ali was never exceptional … 67 goals in 230 odd games is not exceptional… he plays as a midfielder like Cahill used to… basically as a second striker but without all the defensive qualities that Cahill had in our own box
You would think it would mean we win the CL and Alli wins the balon d'or, whereas knowing our negotiating skills it could also be if we are still in operation come 2023..Do you understand the structure of the deal? The chances of us paying £40m is remote.

I think that Lampard may be a bit more relatable than the above would be one key point - in particular Mourinho and Conte appear to be quite abrasive charactersBy the time he reached 21, he had the same number of goals and assists as Gerrard, Beckham and Lampard had combined at the same age.
That is exceptional, for me.
But in the 4 years since he has been so poor for multiple managers. Attitude problems. Lack of effort. One of my friends are a Tottenham fan and they said "he lost his edge". They were very frustrated with him because they know how good he can be.
That does not mean he can not get his edge back, but what will Lampard do that Conte, Mourinho and Nuno did not?
When he played under Pochetinno he was excellent at pressing as well. Another part of his game we need to help him try and bring back. He was great at winning soft pens for a while as well.
Totally forgot about that. His side were ridiculous in the press
