I thought we'd sold him...Been given his favoured #20 back (resulting in Maupay moving to #13).
Wonder if that means he’s going to be given a go?
It means he's now the reserve keeper mate.Hopefully with maupay getting 13 he'll be off with being an unlucky number or does the luck work the other way round and he's actually going nowhere
Rather him be there than upfrontIt means he's now the reserve keeper mate.
I’m not sure where the risk is other than the fees which he’d be more than worth if Dyche chooses to play him….too high risk, I wouldn’t have him anywhere near team selection. It was a mistake signing him, the warning signs were there yet one muggins of a club fell for it.
Bite the bullet, pay his wages until next June and say goodbye.

It's the size of the fee though isn't it. It was rumoured to be £10m every 20 games. And then he's out of contract end of the season.I’m not sure where the risk is other than the fees which he’d be more than worth if Dyche chooses to play him
The reward far outweighs the risk imo
…I also trust Dyche to not play him if he’s not going to perform more than most managers

I can't see it working unless we renegotiate with Spurs. Would love to be wrong.
Agree with all of that. But have no confidence in Levy being rationale or our Board competent enough to come to an agreement.Any sane business would look to renegotiate the terms of this deal - £10m after another 7 games is way too much of a risk, but if we changed it to £5m after the 7 games plus another £5m after a further 15 games or something, it would make more sense as you'd know that he's in Dyche's plans if he plays that many games
That being said, the shirt number change announced today actually works against us if we haven't already tried to renegotiate because it would give Levy an inkling that Dyche wants to give him a go and weakens our negotiating position
It was a crazy deal to agree in the first place, but it could be salvaged if Dele really has got in the right headspace (very debatable) and Kenwright is able to negotiate properly
Worst case scenario here for Levy is that we decide £10m after 7 games is too much of a risk, loan Dele out and let his contract expire - Spurs get nothing in that scenario, so there's a deal to be done but it takes positioning it the right way to work.
Get rid and let someone else to pay for his balloons.
Doesn’t make sense with his loan expiring shortly.Been given his favoured #20 back (resulting in Maupay moving to #13).
