One of the best gif's of all time!!
Top 3 for sure. One of the best gif's of all time!!
Rooney was never World Class, certainly not with us, but in my view he never quite got there... he didn't want it enough to me.Who are the three? I'd say Southall, Alan Ball and maybe Rooney.
Hot take that.Rooney was never World Class, certainly not with us, but in my view he never quite got there... he didn't want it enough to me.
As a club, we also have a duty of care. I'm sure he will be monitored and assessed periodically to mitigate the risk.
5 X 5 matrix:
1. Initial risk X severity
2. Introduce control measures and monitoring
3. Residual risk X severity
3 should be less than 1 after implementing 2.
Another way to look at it is the £10m is for 27 games, which is 2/3s of the season, and we dont know if its PL or appearances total, so it could be more (given he was cup tied when we signed him anyway).I dont understand with the concern regarding the 10m fee.
If we trigger the payment it means hes played in 7 games, which would surely suggest hes done enough to get games?
As somebody else said, its a win, win.

I think Rooney was definitely world class. And as for not wanting it enough, thats crazy. If anything, he wanted to win so much, he sacrificed his own personal glory.
I have personally, never seen another player for Everton with the level of ability he had other than maybe Southall.
He had everything.

If he is back on it, back fit, and going to contribute, its a bargain.
Its less than what we spent on Maupay.
