lol

you utter numpty

And?

You do realise the majority shareholder doesn't get involved with the day to day running of the club dont you?

If the clubs chairman, CEO AND manager all want Brands to stay do you really believe Moshiri would tell them all to GTF?!!

Thats not how it works look at Man City Sheikh Mansour gives his blessing to what the clubs Chairman decides on footballing matters.

Moshiri gives the dough and thats it.

Until Kenwright goes nothing will change and by the sounds of it Kenwright wont leave until BMD is delivered so strap in.

Kenwright gave Brands a new contract mate.

Benitez even if he isn't what he once was is still better than some novice like Potter that everyone was clamouring for. Not like we had Conte and Poch banging down our door to work under current financial restrictions was it...
Yeah, right. Big bad Bill twisted poor little Uzzy's arm.

Usmanov is apparently very good at business, money laundering, racketeering and licking Putin's arse. Moshiri is a good accountant. But on football matters they are clueless. That's why we are where we are with all their money.

Replacing expensive bench warmers with better, cheaper bench warmers is no bad thing, mate.
What’s the arguement? Is it that 1.5 million is astute business because he could come good and we could sell him at a profit? Or is it that he’s crap but will sit on the bench and be a back up emergency player for little money? To be an astute signing we sell at a profit, he’ll have to play games and do well. Seems very unlikely. If it’s that he’s crap but will sit on the bench cheaply and only play in emergencies, fair enough but I’d hardly describe that as astute…

Hahahaha pipe down.

Moshiri has just appointed Rafat and Carlo so the “doesn’t get involved in the day to day running” theory has just been blown out the water

You literally don’t know what the governance of EFC is, it’s not the same as City so stop chatting utter wham

And please provide the list of all these forum members who wanted Potter; are they the same who expected De Bryune to be signed

always an excuse isnt there?

of course its easier to blame some bloke who gave up his majority shareholding years ago rather than the actual incompetent owner.

Of course he/Usmanov hired the managers - but if you believe he would go against Ancelotti, Kenwright and the CEO's wishes to give Brands a new deal you're deluded.

If the two money men at the club, both of whom are world renowned business men, thought Brands was not doing well, they would not just shrug their shoulders if BK said to keep him, that is not how people like this operate. They are ruthless.

If you don't like the ownership do something about it like organise marches etc instead of moaning online that we cant keep spending £100 million every summer.

You wont though as the Usmanov/Moshiri haters are big enough to fit into a telephone box lol

You forget just how much the club were desperate to keep Ancelotti happy.

We were Carlo FC hence the easy get out clause and big wages etc.

Fans included worshipped the bloke so if he wanted Brands to stay on that was always going to happen.

They
No because they are very clearly a completely different profile of player.
They are now but maybe not when first signed.
All players carry risk.
If we are interested in McNeill and are able to sign him that carries a lot of risk.
Townshend carries practically none because it is a one year contract and probably on a reasonable wage and the manager has already worked with him.

Gray is a bigger risk but at a very manageable cost with a much higher potential upside .

I would not have picked those players but I certainly can see the logic in their signings

We are on about BK forcing Mosh to keep Brands (in your head) nothing to do with Carlo
