Wow you buy a lottery ticket with luck like that .I wish you the same luck on the lottery and a Happy New YearOh no Mac, I'm so sorry to hear. Please take care of yourselves. Sending lots of healing vibes to all of you.
Small family and friend gatherings have become an easy way to spread Covid during the Christmas. My husband and I were supposed to visit his dad and his gf this weekend. I didn't think we should go but it has been almost a year since we last saw them and they were eager to spend time with us and our daughter. The past week I have been trying to talk my hubby against going because we would be spending a couple of days indoors in the same house as his dad and gf. But they kept insisting and my hubby felt bad turning his dad's request down. However, last night we received a call from his dad saying that they had been exposed to Covid. They spent Christmas day with his gf's daughter and her husband tested Covid positive yesterday. So thankfully out trip has been cancelled but now I'm praying that my hubby's dad hasn't catch it as he would be high risk given he has heart issues and is a diabetic. I know we are all eager for life
to go back to normal and spend time with our love ones but when we are so close to the end of the tunnel is not worth risking it. So @Billy Dean you did well by avoiding your gathering with your friends. Stay safe!
Feliz año nuevo
