I've genuinely woken up feeling proper low. Felt so high when we were 2-0 up yesterday and playing some quality stuff. Then it all crashed. Football impacts me too much.

Yeah mate. Will be going out for lunch later and to a museum with my partner.Do you have things you regularly do/can do to take your mind off football? Exercise, a hobby, seeing family & friends etc.
I managed to stop letting football bother me years ago. I was fuming after yesterday's game but just took myself to the gym and a pint with my friend and forgot all about it.
As disappointed as I was yesterday at the point of the final whistle and my texts were flying in like there was no tomorrow I went and cut the grass to take my mind off things.I've genuinely woken up feeling proper low. How shorts your grass? As disappointed as I was yesterday at the point of the final whistle and my texts were flying in like there was no tomorrow I went and cut the grass to take my mind off things.
In 60 years of supporting Everton you learn to deal with the downs and await that next up, who knows it may be as soon as next week
You enjoy your meal and your afternoon with your partner they are the real important things in life Everton are just a sideshow (At least that's what I tell myself)
Bald as a coot. How shorts your grass?
Enjoy your lunch and museum visit. I love visiting places of historical interest especially churches although I have no religious beliefs. Anyone who regularly reads the messymascot thread can attest to this as I regularly regale them with badly-taken pictures. It’s a great way to take my mind off my worries. We are a small part of history as are Everton football club and they not worth getting het up about. Have a great time with your partner.Yeah mate. Will be going out for lunch later and to a museum with my partner.
With you there. Couldn't sleep last night. Think I would erase this club from my life if I could. Just not worth the dissapointment.I've genuinely woken up feeling proper low. Felt so high when we were 2-0 up yesterday and playing some quality stuff. Then it all crashed. Football impacts me too much.
It's often another kick in the nads on top of everything else isn't it? The non league interest I am finding helps in this respect. You can detach from Everton slightly by taking a less vested interest in another team, actually enjoying a game regardless of the score.I've genuinely woken up feeling proper low. Felt so high when we were 2-0 up yesterday and playing some quality stuff. Then it all crashed. Football impacts me too much.

Glad you made it through, reducing salt and sugar and increasing water and fibre. Without fail outside of the hardest drugs going smoking is the worst thing you can get into. Dealt with quick, have they asked you to shift a few pounds (lbs)? We all take our health for granted until something gives.Lifestyle change for me i suppose. Had a heart attack last tuesday night. Made it to hospital with chest pains. Had all the tests. Bit of of a shock when told it was an actual heart attack. Im quite an active person with walking and riding bikes. Do like a drink and a smoke but nothing heavy.
Had the dye put through and stent put in friday.
Makes you think how quick things can change. Told Doctor im convinced Everton contributed lol.
Oh well. Not gone yet.

Good luck and fair due for shouting this episode up, reminders to look after ourselves are important.
