Its not the players we didnt get, nor is it the net spend, its the fact that our manager wasnt backed in the transfer window, he wasnt given the tools he felt he needed to take us forward.

As ive said, our squad is good enough, our players are good enough, but they all need to remain in peak form and injury free, cos the deeper into the squad we get, the lesser the quality becomes.

No doubt the window was dissapointing, but we have added to the squad but not to the levels that we all had hoped for.

I am a firm believer that everybody needs to be given time to prove themselves, this goes from a player, manager and even a new owner.

OK if he had been here for 2 years or so and invested nothing, but to condemn him after a couple of months is knee jerking at the best.

Offering up a statement will serve no purpose, hopefully his action in the future months will prove his worth
