How they're senior team is should have no bearing, it's different teams. This Venezuela generation is expected to be their first that takes them to a world cup.

England knocked Argentina and Italy out of that tournament too.

So I’m consistent ? That’s a good thing isn’t it? I don’t watch other leagues and teams as much since I moved to Aus as there isn’t as much on here , but I do watch all of our games which I couldn’t in uk.

I expect you to come back and say that you don't hate him. Well, if you're being consistent you will anyway. But your posts say otherwise. Doesn't matter which thread it may be in, as soon as DCLs name is mentioned you're in there like a shot.

Would like him to play his part in a win whether it be from the start or the bench. He has always tried his hardest whenever he has played, sometimes comes up short with his finishing but he is definitely a handful for the opposition. People on here judge him far to harshly he is of the level where a 2nd/3rd choice striker should be and given his age has time to improve.

I don’t hate him tho, I have never met him and he does seem a nice lad with a good attitude and seems to realise how privileged he is to be playing footy for a living . Only problem I have with him , is that I think he’s not good enough and people compare him to EFC legends, one the prems top strikers and say he’s the top I’m the world for his age.

Because he’s not good enough that’s it. I hope he goes on to score heaps for us and becomes England’s number 9 and played 500 games for us, I would love to be wrong as we are seperate for a top cf , but I do t see him ever being good enough in front of goal and so I think we should cash in and get someone that is

I understand all of that mate. He isn't good enough to be our first choice starting striker right now. No issues there and I don't think there's a poster on here who would argue any different. There are a lot of area's to his game that he needs to improve before he is ready to be our main starter. Again, no argument. The odds on him becoming a world class striker in the mould of Harry Kane are probably very slim. No argument.

I'd probably guess that 99.99% of regular posters on here would agree with the above, but they don't take the piss out of the lad every chance they get. Which you do. That's all I'm saying.

If he’s not good enough now, and probably won’t develop into a top striker. Why keep him around ? We need a top one? I know we need back up but if you are bringing on a back up striker to try and knick a goal, or your first choice striker is injured for a month or two, wouldn’t you want someone that can finish? He’s basically Marcus bent at the moment.
