Lads 90% of the posters on here have a bad word to say about dcl in here and rightly so. Ye deserve a good vaulting if we just buy a player and your in his thread writing him off. But he’s had countless infuriating performances.

It is what youngsters do, look at Rashford at United last season and the way people slagged him off and look at him now.

He seems to mention that fact when we're doing well, but has selective memory loss when we're struggling.
A fine line between failure and success that season he was on the payroll. Could have had two winners medals in his pocket to add to his forty goals.

Swear he got 20. I seem to remember he got 22 on the back of his shirt as that’s how many goals he was aiming for and he ended up 2 short

He usually isn't in that 6 yard box to snaffle those type of goals in the first place. That's why I feel hes clearly learning and improving.

Depends on yourself. I prefer to use league games only as the quality of the opposition is more comparable you get a hat trick against a lower league club or a team of part timers it can skew the stats. My original post was 8 in 18 which was league goals only 10 in 22 is actually a better strike rate so I'm trying to give it the most balance.

Well if you’re correct and he keeps scoring at his current rate and reaches 16 prem goals then he has had a very good season, I hope he does but I’m not holding my breath

Not too keen on the narrative that’s forming around this lad, seems quite a few, who were quick to jump in two footed on him when he was 19/20 and have never repositioned themselves are now saying it’s down to Ancelotti or his period with Ferguson as manager. Utter nonsense, he’s looked a rough diamond for his entire time here. Good luck to him.

It would be a good return and if Richarlison can hit double figures as well which I also expect we might yet nick a Champions League place. Might be a season too early but with Ancelloti as manager I think we would cope.

Do you think he's good enough to be our main striker? I'm absolutely undecided always thought he was good enough for the squad but these last few weeks he's started adding the missing elements to his game.

10 goals at the halfway point in the season is pretty good considering how awful we've been for most of it.
