Missing the point - two of the best strikers to have graced the English game are saying practice makes perfect.

Let's see. If you're right, fair one. I hope you'll say the same if DCL does hone his skills. I'm not saying he definitely will, but I'd rather not write him off completely.

They all did write him off preseason .......even as our leading goalscorer. They have returned to boost utter pathetic supporters.....

I do think you can improve some areas of your game but I have always felt that goal scoring is a natural gift to the best strikers.

You can bulk up and learn to use your body well in shielding the ball / giving a defender a battle for example but can you "learn" to have that ability that the likes of Aguero, Suarez, Lukaku, Rooney etc have/had in finding the back of the net in near every way from a tap in to an overhead wonder goal?

Im skeptical tbh otherwise Niasse could be world class if he just practised a bit more.

His brain seems slower than his mobility. First touch usually, terrible. Panics in too many situations when he has more time.

Cant always blame it on the midfield. We arn't playing Bayern Munich's at Goodison every week { thank god } We;re playing Burnley / Sheff Utd / Palace ffs. He wouldnt get SEVEN goal scoring chances against Bayern. Be lucky if he got ONE !!!
 
Does counter attacking football suit his particular skills? Seems like he was thriving when Digne was in form whizzing in pristine crosses for him to blast in a goal scoring header.

He's shown he can drop a bit deeper and move with it but this is what he thrives off.

That's the weird thing for me , is that he's demonstrated he can hold up the ball but he doesn't really seem to do it in the box. Only when he drops back.

He got two v the mighty Crystal Palace - Rhico got 4 easier ones v them your argument is dead in the water.....
