It has to be absolutely on a plate for DCL - he doesn’t score half chances and he doesn’t create chances for himself or others.

If we can add creativity in several positions then he should in theory break the 20 goal a season mark.

I don't think people have a proper appreciation for how bad our creative play was and how thankless his task became after about October. It is hardly surprising that his finishing got a bit worse when he wasn't constantly getting opportunities. Fix the rest of the team and I think the sky really is the limit for him.

I’d be shocked if they went for a 30 year old that has been out all season with a broken head to replace Harry Kane.

The lack of creativity is staggering.

We expend so much energy just getting to the half way line. As you point out, he has had little service for a large part of the season.
