Been thinking a bit too deeply about where a squadron of us attack a thread like this and then on an appointed day switch stance 180 degrees and start attacking the other side. DCL may just be that conduit.

The fact he is a millionaire has a lot to do with it though, after all its his Football Reward that has made him a millionaire and one good season does not warrant not being able to criticise him for being very off form on the pitch.

I'm sure like us all he has his life event worries and troubles that bother him but on that Pitch is all that matters to any of us, even those deriding him because of his off field forays into whatever magazine or photoshoot he is currently doing, I mean who even buys magazines these days anyway, but that aside Football has made him wealthier than most of us could dream of and that is what I will judge him on and for that reason, I hope he bags a few to see us stay up and then he can head off gladly to the lights of the Big Smoke to do whatever he wants and his replacement will hopefully show some effort on the pitch.

He earns the dough to perform, he isnt performing, so the relevance is seeing someone cream a living while we pay out of our hard earned to watch him and others put in no effort.

I dont think it really matters whether he has/earns 5k, 50k or 500k, a week, the right to criticise for me is based on performance but to some, the level of wealth is very relevant as its not something they or I can achieve. It just makes it harder to stomach, given that most of us would probably play for a beer and a packet of pork scratchings to pull on the shirt!

Because I can assure you, he isn't on the pitch only thinking 30% about football and 70% about modelling. (And if he is, then yes, he shouldn't be near the pitch)

If anything, he's thinking 100% about football. Sadly, the football he's thinking about is how he's going to fit in at Arsenal.

He'll deffo make their kit work for him though. He'll be revealing their new kit and they'll have kit sales sky rocket. I'm looking forward to Rondon modelling ours. It helps me to see whether I'd suit wearing it or not.
