Just read that since Lampard came in we have provided a grand total of 0 crosses whilst DCL has been on the pitch.
And you crabs are still slating him ?.
I mean that’s nonsense like.

You may well have read it but it’s categorically untrue.Just read that since Lampard came in we have provided a grand total of 0 crosses whilst DCL has been on the pitch.

Truly good players feed of scrapsJust read that since Lampard came in we have provided a grand total of 0 crosses whilst DCL has been on the pitch.

If fashion is undermining DCLs performance on the pitch, anyone know what habits are messing with the others? I reckon Michael Keane is well into cheese making and Andre Gomes is too fixated on his real ale homebrewing side hustle. Apparently they both sell loads to Andy Carroll. Strange world.
On it...I think there’s potential for a thread there :
What jobs do the players moonlight in, away from football ?

I mean it may very well not be exactly true. As I said I read it.I mean that’s nonsense like.
A Frank Lampard team is not going to be pinging crosses up to a big man upfront though. Thats why I think he will move on in the summer tbh.I mean it may very well not be exactly true. As I said I read it.
But what is true use that we rarely cross the ball these days and on the rare occasions we do, they are very poor crosses.
For a striker whose main asset is his aerial prowess, it's very, very relevant...like.
Keep talking about what undies he wears though if you want.
I’ve just seen what I assume is the tweet you were talking about. It’s referencing crosses being completed, which I take to mean crosses that have resulted in one of our players connecting with them. I can definitely believe that’s the case, but obviously part of that is also down to the attacking players not getting into the box and/or attacking the ball well enough not just the number of crosses being made.I mean it may very well not be exactly true. That's a different conversation. Strikers like DCL need service or they are nullified. He's never been a player who creates for himself.A Frank Lampard team is not going to be pinging crosses up to a big man upfront though. Thats why I think he will move on in the summer tbh.
A bigger part of it is the quality of the cross though.I’ve just seen what I assume is the tweet you were talking about. PL strikers need to be able to do a bit more than expect everything being handed to them on a plate. Also the likes of Gordon and Gray don't have much of an end product and are both far better at actually running in on goal than crossing the ball. That's a different conversation. Yes, but it’s obviously very different to not actually putting any crosses in at all isn’t it. The quality of the crossing is poor, so is the quality of passing, so is the movement, so is the finishing etc etc. These things don’t exist in isolation.A bigger part of it is the quality of the cross though.
