Yes, but it’s obviously very different to not actually putting any crosses in at all isn’t it. The quality of the crossing is poor, so is the quality of passing, so is the movement so is the finishing etc etc. These things don’t exist in isolation.

Movement of the striker is also key to getting on the end of crosses. Making runs across the near post, losing your marker etc. His movement resembles that of someone like Chris Wood, i.e there isn’t any.

Yeah exactly. If we’re relying on the likes of kenny, Coleman, mykolenko and Richarlison to be whipping in pinpoint crosses that you just can’t miss from before we score another goal then we might aswell just forfeit the rest of the games because it’s not going to happen.

It generally seems to be the case that fan favourites are under no obligation to play well.

If a popular midfielder is struggling, it's the forwards' fault for not moving.

A well-like defender will only ever be let down by a lack of protection from midfield.

etc.

Delph runs one of those blag martial arts dojos where you have to pay a grand in used notes to move up a level (Holgate is a fifth dan black belt, about to become a sixth).

He's also claiming disability.
Aren’t most of squad claiming that the amount of injuries we currently have

I don’t think I can recall a player who nearly gets on the end of a cross so many times. I wish I had the time to watch each cross again to confirm if his movement is not good enough or the cross wasn’t good enough.

I think it may well be a bit of both but I can’t help thinking the phrase the first yard is in the head will never be uttered about him.

Been a big supporter of DCL ever since be came into the squad.

Had the injuries this season...we know he has the hunger and the drive to improve and succeed.

We arent creating chances for him...although i do wonder whether his goal stats last season and England caps have gone to his head a bit.

I think hes a write off this season...

I mean this absolutely isn’t true because we put at least two crosses in in the first half on Sunday alone, he was just nowhere near them.
Ah okay so if my striker is at the back post and I pea roll a cross near post it's the striker's fault?

Your agenda against the lad is embarrassing now.

Of course not. But you can't expect your strikers to be clinical with one half chance created for them. Only elite strikers can do that.

Mad isn't it. He seems to think we are whipping in several high quality balls every game and DCL is missing sitters. He's had one half chance created for him in his last 8 appearances.
Yeh, meanwhile we expect him to get hat-tricks from pinging 60 yarders to him, back to goal against two 6 foot3 grocks with no runners along side him.
