Ok mate, some don't like that fact that ant&dec is playing us into the championship, but we don't like him coz we're all homophobes? Great, got it!
I've worn some pretty shocking things myself in my time (you'd be surprised) so I'm not one bit arsed about what he models.. so looks like you're going to have to find some other way of puking your agenda all over us.
Pics or GTFO

On Saturday, I spent a good ten minutes primarily watching him during the second half, and I got a sense of malaise from him; yet, I couldn't decide what.

A lot of his movement was limited and predictable (two-dimensional), with very little in terms of acceleration or anticipation. His head was often down.

I feel that it is potentially a mixture of things: his injury, it's impact and being concerned; the disharmony in the camp that came under Benitez.

But, I do worry whether he's fully committed although it may be subconscious. Is he someone we can rely on in our hour of need? Right now, I'm not sure.

A goal or two could easily spur him on.

Hard to say for sure. There's something definitely not right with him. It could be as the games are counting down he's been pressured into playing when an injury still doesn't feel right and maybe being given painkillers / gels to play through it. That would play on the mind and subconsciously affect performance.

And if the player says no to loading up with painkillers and making an injury worse or risking recurrence then the "He declared himself not fit" line gets trotted out to the media to make them look the villain who's refusing to play. Might not be the case with DCL but it's not beyond the realms. We've not long since had a manager who took a quick dislike to the medical department, perhaps for not telling him what he wanted to hear, and then threw a player under the bus for declaring himself not fit to play.

Given the turnover of managers in the game and the pressure they quickly find themselves in then a lot aren't too arsed about doing something that's gonna harm a player down the line. And if they have a head physio who doesn't prioritise getting players onto the pitch in the short term regardless of long term harm then a lot will look for another physio or make changes to their "conditioning" team. Often finding a more agreeable doctor with a background in cycling and expertise in the areas of asthma and benefits of caffeine.

But hard to say - he could just not be arsed but that's not an opinion I'd put money on.

I didn't tag you in the post. Anything you'd like to tell us?
You didn't tag anybody, does that mean it's all of us? Seems anybody who doesn't rate him is being labelled a homophobe. Pretty typical tactic in todays narcissistic passive aggressive society. Blanket labelling like that is cheap, weak and vomit-worthy.

Yes, I am blanket labelling everyone who doesn't rate him as being in the closet... exactly that.
