You can pick out many individual footballers and say they are overpaid compared to their peers though. Cenk Tosun earning £80k a week is uncouth whichever way you slice it.

Agree. Fat Sam did a good job and then talked himself out of the gig. But buying Tosun and Walcott cost EFC millions and were awful.

Interesting views on him. Foggy memories aswell. He's 25 now. Not a youngster. Quite clearly Carlo Ancelotti got something from him or maybe lucas digne did. Either way thats his only real purple patch. Which did wonders for him. Got him into the England set up. Got him a bit of a name, lets be honest he never had one before that half season with Ancelotti.

Can be brilliant in the air. Rest of his game isn't brilliant. When he doesnt fancy it(currently) then he is taking up a huge position in the side we simply cant carry.

Not fit. Not interested. Truth is who knows. But i think lampard needs to bench him. And if we are thinking of selling him his price is dropping by the week with performances.

He was never particularly good. I would completely credit Carlo to his run of form last year, he turned a Championship CF to a goal machine during his tenure. Shows the effects of a world-class manager.

Cole was also England’s back up striker for a brief period of time, another similarity.
