Those Shearer injury lay-offs are all about 5 years apart though. Dom seems to break down every 5 games or so.

Yes, but Shearers weren’t reoccurring.
I’d love nothing more than Doms injury woes to go away, but based on 24 months of recent evidence, that isn’t going to happen. And we certainly can’t go into another season hoping that he can stay fit for the majority of it.

For his sake as well as ours, we need someone to share the burden.

Don’t need any medical background to see he doesn’t play enough games I honestly don’t see him staying fit anytime soon especially in the premier league he needs to be gone so we don’t even consider the possibility of him being fit or laying any hope he’s coming back and going to produce anything for us. We need 2 strikers in regardless if he’s fit or not as he will only breakdown again

I'd say we need 3 strikers, ideally. I don't disagree with what you are saying, but would urge a little more patience before we give up on him.

Tell you one thing, i get into my car just hoping it will start each time i use it lol, its a pain in the butt and thats with a new Battery and taking a fit on it, Lewin needs a lot more work on him lol

I’d like to and probably would be with a more capable striker at the club but a lack of goals almost cost us this season.

Spending the week in some facility in Germany? Strange footage him running and jumping around with resistance bands etc and being shoved off balance by an instructor so soon after being absent from the squad altogether. Clearly the “trying everything” continues.

We are going to bank on his resurrection aren’t we.

He was crap for 75% of his Everton career.

I've got no problem with DCL staying and I'd like him to be good again but we have to work off the assumption that he'll barely play.

Didn't we do that with Yakubu and he scored 20ish the next season
