He doesn't really need to be "match fit" tbh, we've seen before the difference he makes to the team when he comes in even when he hasn't played in months. As soon as they think his body is completely ready he'll be straight in. Whether it will ever be completely ready again is another story, I suspect not.

It's like getting the train because you're waiting for your car to be fixed as you think it's cheaper than getting a new one.

But the train isn't free, always delayed or cancelled, miserable, and you can only use the car twice a month went it's "fixed".

Bite the bullet. Get a new one.

That's how Everton are ran.

Rumours he's Injured

If DCL comes back and strings 10 games together, we’ll all look back on this as a master stroke.

I genuinely hope we do.

By that time we're bottom 3 by Christmas and repeating the same thing on having everything on Dom's shoulders.

Replace him. Now.

You watch him come back like Jesus on good Friday all healed when he knows he's not number 1 anymore.

Did anybody say he wasn’t match fit or is this just imagined crap I didn’t hear dyche say it he said there was a program that he hadn’t completed yet that’s not the same thing at all.
He suggested it after Sporting saying the season had just come too soon for him. Anyway as others have said it's not Dom's fault his body keeps failing him, it's this clubs for pinning their hopes on a forward who hasn't been regularly fit for two years! No other EPL club would do this. I'm convinced.

When he went down v Wolves I just assumed season over (correct) and he'd recuperate during June and be fine for July/August.

Says it all that he's taking three months to recover from relatively minor injuries.

Would guess Wolves/Sheffield United is the target but wouldn't shock me to see him involved v Villa.

Dyche being a tube likely over the fact he said DCL wasn’t ready to play & then Dom did an interview the next day saying he was ready. Sean acting like Billy Big Balls

I don't know who is more out of touch with reality:

The types who think DCL is feigning injury or cba or the types, like above, who think he's rubbish.
If you think he's good enough for us then fair enough. I'd not be rude enough to question your thoughts. Us types just wish he was someone elses problem and Everton had a reliable number 9👍

So what is it…a)his partner had a baby; b)he is injured again; c) he needs more game time; or d) he isn’t fit? I can’t keep up..
