Accusing a fan base who have worshipped players such as Yakubu, Lukaku, Yobo, Richarlison, Earl Barret, Amokachi etc of racism towards one of our own players is nonsense. Yeah there's the odd bigot in every 40,000 people but we're not a racist group of supporters.

Can I say that as a gay man it continues to be tiresome for people to constantly talk about this as if it matters.

Firstly he didn't wear it for the "community" he wore it cos he was paid and likes that attire. I personally believe he is straight and even if he isn't it's nobody's business.

It is also an insult to assume wearing that attire is gay cos I wouldn't wear it nor would loads of gay men, so please stop mentioning it and get on with your lives and just talk about the footballer not is side hobby.

I like to think for myself, therefore I talk about what I want, how I want. And I don’t see how someones sexual preference is relevant in a debate because everyone is entitled to an opinion. I say that as a man with sexual
preferences.

Add in your other posts in this thread such as “ Calvert Lewin has been stealing a living for the past 3 seasons because he wants to play dress up“ and I can’t actually find any evidence that you agree with anything he does tbh.

Yes i stand on all that i said previously until DCL can start more than 10 pl games in a season again. A fit DCL upfront is massive for everton and he has been missed these last 2 seasons. Its frustrating have someone constantly injured all the time who is desperately needed by his team so i guess i was having a go in jest and triggered all the fan girls in here. No player is above criticism

I like DCL and am happy he scored.
No I do not condone grown men wearing schoolgirl clothing on infamous magazine covers released in 2021 and worn by a professional football player who is potentially looked up to by thousands of children, especially those who are needed by their club who are constantly flirting with relegation season after season but are constantly unavailable to play.

His team mates earned most of that win yesterday. Didnt really need to make it about him and a game one month ago. If it rankled him mention it on..i dunno. Evertons youtube channel.

I'm guessing that his dad popped up with his view probably rankles a bit, because although I don't know for sure, I very strongly suspect that there will have been a few that will have replied increasingly negatively. To add, and to reference what Coleman mentioned about all players receiving some 'stick' now and then, players probably feel their family is very much off limits.
