Facts. In 7 years he's averaged under 7 goals a season.

He's managed around half the available games.

I'm not criticizing his character, values or being personal about him.

As a fan and oberserver of the club (as we all are) Everton should consider him a 3rd choice striker, behind 2+ strikers players that can play regularly in order to build consistency and momentum in improving our performances.

Basing improvement in our team on his availability will not see us move from 20th in the table.

Pointing this out is not drivel.
Why would you take into account his formative years when talking about his quality? When Ronaldo was at Real they didn’t talk about his first season at United where he struggled or his season at sporting where he had a worse goal rate than Chermiti.

The last two seasons Dom had fully fit he was our best goalscorer since Lukaku and people want that guy back, that’s all.

I’ve not heard a single person say we should pin our hopes on that happening, only that they hope he can come back strong and they’d love it if he did

You have thought by mentioning his “dressing up”.

You are feigning ignorance to your own ignorance.

Also, your maths is wrong, he has 60 goals over 7 seasons, despite the first 2/3 seasons being him breaking through as a kid and often playing out of position. And then 2 unfortunate years with his injuries and bad management.

So you can only count the 2 seasons (was one calendar year really) where he was any good? Nobody is allowed to judge him on any of his other seasons?

Dyche clearly says in the presser the specialist told them to come back once the swelling has gone down.
Which is almost always the way it's done.
If there's no complications...this  is Everton here...and he doesn't get injured somewhere else he should be back before the end of October.
If.

That’s definitely not what I said. I said people are hoping he can get back to where he was before the injuries where he’d had a couple of good seasons but we should never be in a position where we’re relying on that.

The lad came good after years of development where he wasn’t very good, I’m not sure why you’d include those growth years in stats to talk about how good he can be if he gets fit again as he learned his game.

First line your ‘fact’ is wrong, his average is 8.5

Second line he’s played the equivalent of a full season for the last 2 years because of injury but before that, he played in all but 5, 2, 3 and 6 of league games

3rd line you pretty much did by mentioning his fashion style

Nope.

a) Spelling dude.

b) I'm talking league goals.

c) Might agree with 'his injuries and bad mgt'. Yes, bad mgt to keep him as centre piece in our attack since he's too injury prone

A) I’m assuming you are pointing out my spelling mistake of having a t on the end of thought? Which, if that’s the case, makes you look even more of a prat as it shows you have no comeback to the fact you are ignorant.

B) You didn’t state that. But seems odd to just ignore a load more of his goals for us which shows your agenda.

C) Yes, there has been bad management at not bringing in adequate reinforcements. But the bad management I was speaking of was by Benitez and Lampard who both rushed him back to soon and aggravated and worsened his injuries.
