He didn’t go off with a concussion though. Fractured cheek by the sounds of it.He has to rest for two weeks as part of the concussion protocol, before he can return to training.
We didn’t use our allocated concussion substitution anyway.

Not as many as DCL.It sounds like you missed a few meetings, and matches
Overall, I think he's not up to it.Posts like this are so so strange.
He seems a decent lad, model pro, never once disrespected the club, always contributes when he plays yet here you are calling him a clown?? Is it just because he has had injuries? Or something else? I think we know the reason why.
This injury is unrelated to his previous injuries. Cant tie this up as being injury prone. Guy got clattered shoulder first and wanted to stay onOverall, I think he's not up to it.
The glimpses we get of any ability in between lengthy (and well paid) injury spells are more of a distraction.
Why is he so injury prone?
And the dressing up thing was ridiculous.
Most importantly he has not always contributed when playing, it's taken years of waiting to see any kind of return and the club's trajectory in that time is fact. That of course is NOT all DCL's fault, but he's a bang average forward that we've given too much time and money and hope to. He alone will not be the reason for any eventual relegation, but patience instead of hard headed mgt will be contributing factor in his case.
I know what you mean, look he is the best we have on our books, can link play quite well but he never fully convinces me he is a top drawer finisher, hate to say it and even use “them” as a comparison but Salah,Jota,Diaz even Nunez I would have to say are much more convincing in the chance conversion stakes than our Dominic.Overall, I think he's not up to it.

It was brave. It is another injury. With more game time maybe he wouldn't have felt the need to charge in. If anything with a bit of fitness behind him (which I hope he has), perhaps he was really trying almost too hard to put it around a bit rather than pick his battles. This injury is unrelated to his previous injuries. FGS he bravely went in for a crap cross & got banjaxed & all you do is moan ....Overall, I think he's not up to it.

What he does very well is he drags this team further up the pitch like in the Leicester and Brighton games last season as well as City H, teams hate playing when he plays, their defence know there in for a game when doing so.Overall, I think he's not up to it.

Wtf are you on about here? You saying he should have known not to go for the ball? How was he meant to know he'd get into a freak accident? Strikers instinct to go for a ball when played into the area. He did his job, he just unfortunately clattered into the keepers shoulder. It was brave. It is another injury. Overall, I think we need a better more reliable CF. We might not be able to afford' better' in some eyes - but think we can afford more reliable in Adams, and it will provide a focal point for the squad.
"What like Maupay?" is the obvious retort. No, with height and athleticism, which might also give Maupay a few more scraps to feed off in the box.
A broken cheekbone specialist? What is that?
