I guess if he was to stay and have a major impact in keeping us up, as in, the difference between staying up or going down, then it would be worth losing him for free.
Feel that this coming season will be the only danger for us. The future after that ought to be bright.

Tbf to him he’s not shown any indication of wanting out (so far), all the noise is speculation / social media chatter.
Last thing I recall him posting was pretty positive towards the club talking up over taking Cahill in the goals scorers charts iirc.
Can change very quickly of course especially if a contract remains unsigned.

I doubt he would move if we gave him a free transfer- - the wages he’s on he’ll stay another twelve months when his contract is up.

That would be the "Dyche as manager because he will never ever drop me or change anything" clause. (Doubt there's a manager anywhere in the country that would play a so-called 'striker' every single week and is utterly undroppable despite going over half a season without a goal).
