So because he’s under contract we have the right to tell him to where to go

An interesting stand
All comes down too whether we need to sell or not. If we don't then we can dictate what will happen.

Everton shouldn't sell for less than his value even if it risks him going for nothing next year cos he wants a specific club. Don't you agree with that?

Explain how this has happened

Theres a very real possibility that we will breach psr because of the lack of this sale. Or even worse we may be foreced to sell branthwaite at what united want to pay because of it.

See how your opinion of "its all up to him" holds up if that happens.

Greed? Thinking he's better than he actually is? There's no reason why a player who's scored 14 goals in 3 years should be demanding the wages he is. Leaving on a free will mean clubs will be open to reaching his wage demands though.
What wages is he demanding fella?

The club has the right to transfer list, and tell him he's not part of our plans this season, and to find a new club, IF the player is not willing to sign an extension

The player then has every right to see out the final year but we also have every right not to select the player.

That goes for any player with transfer value, with under 12 months remaining on a contract.

I would set a deadline for accepting our contract offer. If the deal is not accepted or rejected, then I would transfer list DCL and say we will consider all reasonable offers.

The club should be doing what they can to ensure we get a good fee for a good player we developed.

Unless they come up with the money in the next 10 1/2 hours that isn’t happening

The fans booed him when he broke his cheekbone in a game

I’m pretty sure his view of them is in not a positive one

If he's based anything on a few seconds incident at villa park over the years the club have treated him well then i'd say have a look at yourself. But im not sure he does. He seems a sensible chap. Even he will know if there was a bit of frustration at that exact time none knew the extent of the injury. He wasnt pole axed on the floor being booed.

hahahaha that’s amazing

1. If we do breach PSR it has nothing to with Dom turning down Newcastle
2. If we do breach it, the penalty will be around a point: the sentencing have been established
3. We ain’t selling branthwaite to meet PSR because the deadline is tonight

Try again mate

So in your world: we do have the right to tell someone where to go

Amazing
