hahahaha that’s amazing

1. If we do breach PSR it has nothing to with Dom turning down Newcastle
2. If we do breach it, the penalty will be around a point: the sentencing have been established
3. We ain’t selling branthwaite to meet PSR because the deadline is tonight

Try again mate
I agree on 1 & 3

But no team has received a 1 point penalty for PSR

I tend to think they would issue a more severe penalty if we fail again and will argue we should have made a sale. The fact we turned down an offer from United (albeit an insultingly low offer) will not help our argument.

If he's based anything on a few seconds incident at villa park over the years the club have treated him well then i'd say have a look at yourself. But im not sure he does. He seems a sensible chap. Even he will know if there was a bit of frustration at that exact time none knew the extent of the injury. He wasnt pole axed on the floor being booed.
An Everton player goes down injured and fans boo

Second, a minute and hour it’s disgraceful

Are you sure on Number 2. I thought it auto started on 3points, then whatever after it. then again i don even know anymore, as they change the things as we go along

I’m confident it’d be 1, at worst 2

I’m very confident that if we would have held our appeal in the last breach it would have been reduced.

We’re acting in good faith, showing a massive decrease in our PSR losses, it would be easily mitigated down

I don't share that confidence to be honest

I think we should be doing whatever we can to ensure no more points deductions. Regardless of how we feel about the PSR rules, the process, how the league have handled it, and the unfairness of the rules.
If the choice was:

1. Sell Dom to meet PSR, go into the season with Beto and roll the dice

Or

2 don’t sell Dom, he has a decent season and we gain an extra 10-15 points and we get a 2 point breach.

Which one are you taking

Athletic reporting the Newcastle/Minteh deal fell through due to Dom failing to agree terms with them. Wonder what he's asking for?

I’d be guessing he’s trying to get the same time of wages that we would “ hope” to command if he leaves on a free next year

If DCL had more than 12 months left on his contract I would say 2.

But number 2 is a hypothetical scenario so I don't know. We know the team plays better when he plays, but we don't know what any potential PSR penalty would be, and we don't know how many extra points keeping DCL will bring. It's probably less than 10 or 15.

If we get a few more weeks into the summer, and he still hasn't signed a contract, then I think the only sensible option is to sell him and reinvest the money. I don't have much faith in the club replacing him well, but that's what good football clubs do. They sell players rather than letting them leave for free, and then use the funds to buy good replacements.

or we don’t sell Dom and he stays and gets injured for two and a half months and we break PSR and have to roll the dice with Beto?

Which one are you taking?
