Newcastle will win something before we do, they literally played in the CL last season, we are at least 5 years away doing such a thing.

They are ambitious and are only being hampered by FFP to being able to really compete. Like them or not it is a big step up from us atm until we prove it in the standings.

Here’s another way of looking at it, Newcastle won’t win anything. Spurs have had 10 years of CL football and won nothing.

There’s more chance of us catching them back up with decent owners than there is of them winning anything over the next 3 years.

It's a forum, about 80% of what is said is speculation. I was responding to someone who said they think he'll do that and I replied saying IF that is his plan then I hope that happens.
