Burnley got beat anyway so it was kind of an irrelevant goal, if you look at it coldly.
If we don't win that game imagine the psychological boost those other teams get with us going into an Arsenal game to survive?

It was just one of their transfer notebook type articles where they just list a bunch of clubs and a bunch of players and hope something sticks. Aggregators have taken a tiny snippet and gone with it.
didn't save us a penny because we finished 4 points above burnley and if you take away the 3 points from that palace game we still finish 1 point above burnley. The other argument is also invalid because burnley lost on the last day of the season anyway and our mindset would have been different against arsenal in any event, so you can't have it both ways. we beat palace on 19th may 2022 the same time villa played burnley so had we lost that palace game still would have gone into the final day of the season above burnley. burnley knew that they would have to win anyway with the leeds result and still bottled it.
also didn't michael keane score a crucial equaliser in that game
ironically the game that technically saved us from relegation that season was the stinky 0-0 away point to watford reserves - a frank lampard classic
without that point taking out the palace win for argument's sake then we would have finished below burnley on goal difference
I understand what your saying but is the Barkley situation comparable? sBarkley does this- he's a filthy rat and never should be seen in goodison again
Dcl does this- OH GOOD LUCK MATE.
I don't mean you in this because your post is fair, but the way some people react about this fraud is genuinely concerning
We should be looking for Centre Forwards, if it's true DCL has deffo turned down his contract offer. Not much faith in Beto and Chermiti not ready yet, but promising and Mauoay rubbish.
You mean the actual amount of 57m, Im sure. It's a concern for sure.
But we paid 80m on the 4 Strikers the lad above posted, some haven't been given a fair crack.
If Maupay is moved on, then he needs replacing, but then so does DCL for me.
I just don't think the club agrees.
That could be an inroad into getting Asprilla here, also Watford would be a decent place for Chermiti, young players do well there normally.Bobble mentioned Watford wanting Chermiti on loan. Would be interesting if Dom goes weather we’d let him go too.

No mate. You mean the actual amount of 57m, Im sure.
I don't think it is bad from him, with the abuse he gets and the thankless task of leading the line for us, never mind the pressure of him being our saviour, why would he stay?Incredibly poor from him I’m afraid if that’s true. If he wants to leave then I’d happily see him go, frankly it would just be about getting a price for him as he’s scored about 5 goals in 5 years at this rate.
tbf it was one particular fashion shoot that got peoples *cough* knickers in a twist. Rattled a few dated cages did our Dom!your not allowed to make fashion shoot jokes btw mate, that's abuse, and it's like racism according to him
We couldn't even maintain a consistent song for the lad. Probably one too many thinking it might be homo-erotic or something. People were singing 'Beto' at full gusto for falling over with intentI just thought it was a strange choice or words.
But yes, its something I said at the end of the season, if he wont sign a new contract, he must be sold, this fanbase hates him already, with only 12months left the abuse would be quite disgusting if he went 5minutes without a goal or didnt run around at full pelt for 90minutes.
God forbid he picked up a minor injury and had to go off.
Leaving is without question the best decision he could make.
