We paid 25m for Beto, 27m for Tosun.

£27mil for Tosun is false. £18-£22mil was the range of the transfer fee.

Think back, when the £27mil was announced some clarity came out that it was in euros and included all add ons which were difficult to achieve.

Stop being such a drama queen, nobody hates Dom.

We are entitled to be underwhelmed by his goal return which is frankly abysmal when compared to his PL counterparts.
Nah, some definitely do, just have to look back in this thread over the year and it’s obvious.

Interestingly he has similar rates of scoring to some of our more revered PL strikers such as Ferguson and Campbell. As well as Yakubu, Johnson, Jelavic, Saha. All had rates of a goal between every 3.2 to 3.6 apps.

So he is pretty par for the course for our strikers (Lukaku is a one off for us in PL era that I’ve discussed previously)

Think he,s rang everyone to be honest.
Dom's agent on the ring round

For the record, Watkins had loads more opportunity than DCL this past year. Adjusting for the possession that Dom had to work with, Watkins would have only scored 10 against his actual 19. A lot goes into that, obviously, from style of play and individual attributes to service and the threat that your teammates bring, but DCL isn’t crap. He had far less possession than anyone in the top ten scorers outside Mateta, who was the most productive against his opportunities. No one would set the world on fire in our squad unless other things change, and in this offense, Watkins likely wouldn’t be significantly better. It stands to reason DCL could slot into another offense and look worlds better.

Mate DCL has been here 8 years , if you can’t see that he literally cannot finish when clean through on goal and is a very poor finisher , then there is no hope for you

Look at the managers he's had in that time, Carlo played him more of a box player, where as others have played him as a Target man. ( Strange that he scored more under Carlo isn't it.

It was a weird season behind closed doors. Calvert lewin hit double figures and liverpool won the league.
Doesnt get any weirder.

Dom had a Walcott year in front of goal. We can bemoan his lack of service and all, but he just missed easy chances. That points to one of two things.

1. He is just stinky poo at finishing on the ground (I think a bit column A here)
2. He is mentally not in the best place at Everton football club (A bit of column B as well)

When he came back from injury he looked a different player. We thought he turned a new leaf. He actually looked solid on the ball as if he had really worked on his game. Fast forward a few weeks and all of a sudden he kind of looks a bit Bambi on ice again. I think there are players that are just uncoordinated goobers like Beto, Straq and Niasse, then you have players that think too much like Dom, Iwobi and Barkley. So much so that it really affects their play.
