They represented us very poorly that day, I don't think it's OTT. Booing your own player for going off injured, shocking behaviour.

It wasnt all Everton fans. But like most times it only takes some to be classed as all.

You seriously don't think that him throwing shade at the fans after a goal & win on the road wasn't a bit bizarre?

I happen to really like Dom - I just don't get why he actually had to reference the fact that his 'own fans booed' him and he 'takes the rest with a pinch of salt'..

Just enjoy the win, acknowledge the fantastic away support, and move on...

I think it's more bizarre the defending of some people's behaviour towards him.

I'm not defending it, at all. I just think him highlighting an isolated incident amongst what is otherwise a large group of dedicated & passionate away supporters that turn up in full voice every other week was a bit out of turn personally...

Think it’s better that he addressed it tbh. He clearly heard it at the time given his reaction. If he were to say all our fans are amazing he’d be lying through his teeth.

It was, at the very most, a small handful of frustrated fans who spend vast sums of money travelling up and down the country to follow the club. They're an absolute credit to us.

Just thought it was an unnecessary comment to make after a great away win - one that was well overdue for those dedicated travelling fans. I understand it's been frustrating for him.. but why call out the fans directly?

Agreed my lad went today and the villa game he said to me at the time he never booed by the way it's just frustrating and sent few lads over the edge no malice just frustration..it's football and it's fickle

All's I'm saying is I thought it was unnecessary for him to bring up the isolated incident at Villa. It just kinda paints the away support in a bad light when they're arguably one of the most dedicated & supportive in the division..

You didnt say a section in my first reply. You just said the fans were a disgrace. Many of them were not.
