Bar the 1v1 which showed a bizarre lack of confidence for a striker that had scored 2 in 2 and thinks he’s worth 675k a week, he was very good today.

Yes we would have won if he’d scored that chance so automatically he is the spawn of Satan. Booo! And he’s made a habit of missing those same chances (even against this same keeper!). But still, if his shot against the bar had been 2cm lower and we’d drawn he’d have been MoM. Did a lot of good.

His finishing is poor. No one can say other wise.

We are 4 games in. He was good in parts last night but again when it matters he fluffed his lines.

His issues comes when he has some time to think. He rarely delivers on those. The Bournemouth goal was ultimately a one v one but came to him quickly

It wasn't offside. Stream I was watching showed a few replays and he was on. Let's not make excuses for the awful non finish.

He had a good game still in general, but you can't miss those chances. You just can't. Chances like that win games.

For sure. I said this before. It's a momentum game and 3-1 would have been massive at that stage to shift momentum

I still think they’d have come back even at 3-1, they were all over us second half and Watkins in particular missed 2-3 chances for a hat trick

They had the wind in their sails. 3-1 would have definitely knocked some confidence out of them for a while. It can change things.
