2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Yeah beat that straw man down, get him! Might want to go learn what words mean.

So which one is untrue? All the matches he will miss this year? All the matches he missed 2 years ago? All the matches he missed 3 years ago? That for the past 4 years he has consistently missed matches due to injury? Name a season in the last 4 he HASNT missed matches due to injury. That wasnt even a point I really cared about until you decided to fall over yourself to bring a statistical technicality to fight the correct opinion that "for whatever reason you want to make up", DCL hasnt scored many goals for us for the past 4 years.

You offer him a new contract, I wouldnt.
I also wouldnt and I consider myself a pretty big fan of his.

Too much baggage at this club, he needs a fresh start.

My concern is who we get to replace him.

But regardless, hes out for a long period now, so lets move on.

Well, I never said that but there you go.
I can see you are triggered by Dom in some way, you’ve earned a lie down. When I’m off learning all these new fangled words I had no concept of it might be prudent if you have a look at the meaning of the word ‘constant’.

It's not 'negativity' they are just facts.

He's had 2 seaons in his career where he got into double figures, they were under Carlo and we all know circumstances many of those games were played under. Was never prolific before and has never been prolific since. Top strikers often have different managers, its a part of football, but they still deliver; this guy doesn't but every excuse under the sun gets rolled out for him every year.

No club in their right mind should hang their hat on a guy who hasn't had one good season in 4 years. If 1 goal in Moyes' 3 games is your sample size to suggest this time it'll finally be different, then I shall leave you to enjoy your straw-clutching, but I've seen this movie before...
whats the movie called
