Agreed mate, said it all summer we needed to impose a deadline and if a decision wants made he’s for sale.

Now the opposite has happened he’s out a deadline on the club and we’re scrambling.

The club have allowed themselves to be strung along.

We've had a 25 mil price tag on his head all summer.

United offered 15 in June but we rebuffed it.

Problem is we've not really been in a strong position because of his contract situation. It was always going to come to a head now.

But didn't he price himself out of a move to Newcastle ? If so he should have been dropped from the squad immediately & told his agent to sort it out.

Now we'll get buttons for him if he manages to get a move.
