2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Great to hear him overcome hardship and adversity, picking up a yearly wage in a week, while also dealing with the huge change in culture between Sheffield and Liverpool. All of that will help me understand his position of stringing the club along, while he winds down his contract, to walk out on the club with no recompense so he can trouser more dough.

Glad you’ve grown man! ;)

Talk about living in a bubble.
The whole team pick up massive wage packets .....

But there not posting articles on the main site mate, talking about hard times and personal growth, while strategising on how best to cost the club 10s of millions, so they can trouser it themselves.

Did the club abandon him during those times……given the support they’ve given Dele and Keane in the past I’d suggest not. Is loyalty a one way street.

Sorry that article is Dom pissing down our backs and telling us it’s raining.

Almost a softening up by the club and him.

If he’s going, go, don’t feed us BS.

Sorry mate but my loyalty will always be to the club, rather then the cult of a player.

He cost us 1/2 a million & has done really well compared to some duds we have signed on top wages too!

We also invested in him mate, developed him, put trust in him, gave him a platform, a stage to gain England recognition, stuck by him through injury
and trusted and continue to trust his body enough to make him the equal highest earner at the club.

By that premise, should we not want a return if we sell Branthwaite, because he cost about 1 mill and done well for us.

He signed a contract and fulfilled it. His future is his business.

Are you an ex poster mate, how can you know what I posted in the past of you only joined last year.

^ One of those guests for many a year. DCL signed a contract, gave what he could through said contract, collected his wages without fuss despite being booed for broken bones. All the best to him. Very strange to be upset over one form of wage being collected and be a supporter of a degenerate of this club and run it into the ground.

That’s the game. I’d be very critical of the club in managing this.

I’m not to perturbed he’s leaving, I’m annoyed we’ve let him dictate this situation, to a monetary cost to the club.

If we’re hit with a PSR charge this year, you’ll see me really explode.
He didn't dictate this situation, he wanted to leave, we put too high a value on him pricing clubs out of making a reasonable offer for him.

Odd. Want to do a big reveal. Suspicions - activated!

I stand by everything I post here, I might be wrong or right, but I post what I think and I give reasons.

On Bill the game passed him by many years ago, he out stayed his welcome and ended up a Patsie, there was a time he wielded a fair degree of power but after Moshiri, I’m led to believe it dwindled and his remit was largely, public facing it, EITC, being an extra signature and some stadium bits and bobs - vanity in the end was his downfall.

I can acknowledge things he did well particularly as chairman and also things I’ve been critical off him as chairman in the past. If being able to see both sides and praise and critise objectively me makes me a supporter. Get me a T-shirt! ;)

Of course, being on a forum means you give an opinion, unfortunately it's incorrect and seems hypocritical when applied to other situations of people taking money from the club. Dom has done nothing wrong here at all. If there's an issue with the interview, the club perhaps shouldn't have done one.
