Which is why more than a few Hispanic Americans aren't happy with the amnesty idea. They have jumped through all the hoops and waited years only to see those who came illegally get rewarded.

The problem with Roe vs Wade is not that it was the wrong decision, its that it was a short-cut to something that should long since have been a constitutional amendment. Whilst it is only a court decision, people will always try to get it overturned and there will be a relatively easy route for them to do it.

The "gun show loophole", both pro- or anti- positions, is just moving deckchairs on the Titanic.

The right want to the states to decide abortion laws not federal judges as the constitution would have wanted.
Any background checks? I'm not sure about that but regulation is a slippery slope that eventually will lead to a defacto ban.

So advocating conversion therapy is totally different. Voting against non-discrimination laws including sexual orientation. Opposing same-sex marriage and civil unions. Saying homosexuality is incompatible with military service (which would have surprised Alexander the Great, I'd think).

The man is vehemently anti-LBGTQ. But he hasn't said to 'criminalize' it, so it's all good.
