I would have called it out for a racist march and had the cops fly into them....

Regarding #4...you don't live here and can't even imagine what it must be like to be a black person in America. I haven't a clue either, but there is a massive problem of inequality in this country among minorities. The black community has historical challenges that are still generations away of being solved. In a nutshell pipe down on something you haven't a clue about.

Maybe you should have a think about how much more dangerous it is to be a black man in the USA, how equivalent crimes are punished, how many unarmed black people have been killed by police recently. I could go on but the point is that they aren't saying black lives matter more than all lives, they are saying black lives matter too.

Im not sure focusing on being black isnt racist in a way in itself? Surely it should be all lives matter yet they went loco about that when lopez posted it and not a peep when a white guy was shot by the cops or a black guy who was shot as he was a cop it seems....theyve taken the wrong approach there for me.

As for trump i think he has to be a better option than clinton. Lots of his claims will be interesting in terms of how he goes about implementing them which appears to be impossible.

Thankfully Trump has a major uphill battle to convince (aka lie to) the American people about his credentials and the lack thereof of (as he calls it) the "liar" Clinton. Have you ever heard anyone try to get away with so much open mudslinging of this level of disparaging in a major nation's election in the last 50 or 60 years - that is since Adolf Hitler's era?

Frankly anyone who really believes this bully, accused rapist, dodgy businessman (multiple bankruptcies - quite remarkable considering his wealth) is going to get the President they deserve. And then we move on to his so-called policies - threatening to build a wall at a ridiculous cost (not to mention that immigrants come from many directions in many forms of transport) - remove muslims (are people really going to vote a racist into the white house? - there's no more dog-whistle politics about The Donald - he's full on White Cloak and Pointy Hatted about his future Presidency.. And who really wants this reactionary moron (a man who claims to be highly intelligent - well show me something he's said that isn't a wild vacuous statement please - I see absolutely no evidence that Trump is even of average intellect) to be in charge of the Nuclear threat that the US carries. I think we can confidently assume that there would be some sort of coup to remove him once he starts threatening Putin or China or North Korea with the full-on assault. Or at least one can hope so.

I agree, but millions of people are supporting Trump, just as millions voted for Brexit or are supporting Le Pen and Wilders, or have put their lot behind Syriza. There are a lot of unhappy folks around the world and politicians from left and right are taking advantage of this disgruntlement. We've been here before after the depression, and even if we think it daft or unsavoury, I'm not sure it can be ignored any longer.

I mean no one thought Brexit would happen, but that's kind of legitimised things imo, so as crazy as it sounds, I wouldn't rule out Trump getting in at all, and then we enter a very scary place.
