You get the feeling this is their one and only shot.

It will be impossible for them to replicate this seadon.

Whereas City are merely doing what they did last season....and in all likelihood will do again next.
2 left to play, although the world did look a better place when I heard the score...and the manner
But
Come writers and critics
Who prophesize with your pen
And keep your eyes wide
The chance won't come again
And don't speak too soon
For the wheel's still in spin
And there's no tellin' who
That it's namin'.
For the loser now
Will be later to win

Just sayin like

Shame goal line tech wasn’t around in 05. They wouldn’t have won that either. Would have been another accurate refereeing conspiracy. Can’t wait to see how the kopite propaganda machine comes up against VAR next season. Will be entertaining to see what ingenious ways they come up with to discredit accurate refereeing when it goes against them.

Or VAR at Wembley in 1884.

We would have had a penalty kick and Hansen would have been sent off.

Or VAR in the 1977 Semi Final when Hamilton's goal would have been allowed.
Or VAR in the Cup Final against Arsenal when Henchoz handled on the line after 10 minutes.
Or VAR in the League Cup Final when Birmingham should have had a penalty to beat them
Or VAR in the Champions League Final in 2005 when Gerrard dived for a penalty
Or VAR in the 1/4 final that year against Arsenal when Gerrard dived for a last minute penalty
Or VAR in the semi-final when Garcia's goal didn't cross the line
Or VAR in the last league game in 1986 when Dalglish scored an offside goal against Chelsea to win them the league.

Those are only the ones I can think off off the top of my head. And yet somehow their fans think they're unlucky!!!

What about the one with Don Hutchinson that bounced off his backside, or when Gary Mcallister moved the ball forward 10 yards before shooting

The footy news cycle this morning: "Man City could be winning the title by relying on millimetres for balls going over the line and being saved from going over the line".

Ha Ha Ha.

Their army of pliant poodles in the media are fewmin.

Can they start measuring the pounds per square inch of pressure that has resulted in many of Salahs falls to the ground in the penalty area?

Or VAR last year when Salah tried to assault the great Sergio Ramos Garcia

A few posts on here saying that City have no history, well just for you kopite lurkers, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but City were winning European trophies before they were. Also Chelsea, Spurs, West Ham and Newcastle were also winning European trophies before them, yet they say they hav'nt any history. Liverpool had a 'golden' period from 1973 -1990 where they won the majority of their honours and this is what they live on imo. For ffs, they didn't win the FA Cup until 1965. I have no issue with City posistion in football with the money they have, history will tell you that the succesful clubs all spend money to achieve that success. When they won the European cup in 1977, they went out and broke the trans record for Dalglish and Souness. In the 80's they broke it again to buy Barnes and Beardsley, on both occasions they followed it up with winning trophies- so they are contradicting themselves when they complain about City, good luck to City I say.
Can I like this more than once.... bloody good history lesson that.

Honestly I know, then there's the million penalties they got in 2013/14 which were mostly farcial. And nearly won them a league.

Suarez’s main tactic that year was to get into the area and flick the ball up against a defenders hand. So if a defender was tight to him, he’d dive for a pen, if a defender backed off him, he’d flick it up against him and scream for a pen so you just saw defenders unable to barely do anything against him once he got into the box.
