ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

That’s the annoying thing, like why can’t it be a week after the season? Instead it’s a whole month of RS wankfest. Let’s hope Spurs make it through so the English media has to at least pretend to be neutral and it’s not just wall to wall RS coverage.
I dont fancy those spineless beauts in the final, ajax have more chance if stopping pure evil being victorious

Regretting my comment yesterday when my RS buddy hoped Brighton turn into Barca on Sunday.
I uttered you should be wishing Barca turn into Brighton tonight.
Coming to terms with things now but smarting because we all knew Messi and co would score at the very least.
And Hove

City and Liverpool are the biggest financial dopers in the most financially doped league in the world. Horrific Chelsea and Arsenal teams will most likely contest the Europa league final and we could also see Spurs in the CL final.

Until something changes in the economic landscape of European football their presence in the CL latter stages will continue. Only two clubs in Europe can pay the wages necessary to compete with the prem in Madrid and Barca. If they have an off year then there are no teams who can stand against the prem’s top 3. Spurs blasted Dortmund away like it was nothing and Liverpool the same with Bayern. Rather than Ajax being exceptional I think Juve and Madrid were just poor. The likes of Juve PSG and Bayern have destroyed competition in their own league and now cannot experience the level of competition required to play against a City or Liverpool at full throttle.
Whats your rationale for financial doping?

Just hope to feck that it all goes pear shaped in the final and they lose it because the levels of insufferable will reach levels never before seen. You would think they had won the world cup today and they have currently actually won nothing and i hope it stays that way.

Spurs are capable of giving them a real game in Madrid. I´m not saying they´d win but it´s definitely not a foregone conclusion. Their fans think it is and it´ll be very difficult for the players not to buy into it as well. Just watch their lap of honour on Sunday, it´ll be like a victory parade but without a trophy.

I´m just not sure about Ajax. Different team but they completely froze against United. It was men against boys.

Spending money you don’t have chasing trophies to the point that you should go into administration only to be rescued by the establishment, sold off at an undercut price to new owners who then give you a blank cheque to go out and spend more in one calendar year than any team in the history of football has ever spent.

That would be financial doping in my eyes. You and City are in an arms race now that shows no sign of abating. Top managers in Europe don’t want to be managing in the bundesliga, Seria A, or Ligue un where quite frankly the competition is non existent which is why we’ve seen the top 6 in this country attract Guardiola Klopp Mourinho Conte Emery Sarri. Whilst Chelsea Arsenal and Spurs have tightened their belts though recently, you City and United have unlimited funds to buy whatever player you want in any position. Then you make out like it’s a miracle when you’re doing well in the league and in Europe.

Tbh, I think it would be best for football for Ajax or Spurs to win it. Liverpool would be further proof that throwing billions at a team will (eventually) reap rewards. Spurs or Ajax would be a win for football, Liverpool a validation of spending obscene amounts of money
Most Spurs fans would like Mr Levy to put his hand in his pocket a bit more often!
