ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

But I have just seen, that the new GK is the final piece of the JS.

Tbh every single one of the top 6 have got a fantasy football 11. United’s midfield will be Matic Pogba Fred with Lukaku Sanchez and Martial upfront. If that was the RS team they’d be expecting to sweep the lot but for some reason United have been completely written out of this season’s title race despite having a manager who is a few classes above Klopp. Arsenal’s front four will be Aubemayang Lacazette Ozil Mkhitaryan. If that fires there’s more goals there than Mane and Firmino will bring Unless Salah is in god mode. With Wenger now gone who knows how Arsenal will do. Same with Chelsea, they can put out Kante and Jorginho, two better midfielders than anyone at Liverpool.

So this two horse race that Liverpool fans like to think will exist this season is not a certainty. They may have improved but so have everyone else and they were already a long way behind.

I’ll stick with my prediction that Guardiola and Mourinho are a higher class of manager and will not be bested over 38 games by Klopp once they’re settled (which they both are now). I actually think of the 6 top managers Klopp would be ranked 5th.

Henry - Juventus
Viera - Milan
Pogba - Juventus (not sure he's even played a single game in the french league) Though you chaps think he's flopped anyway. lol
Desailly - Milan
Blanc - You think he was a success? From Inter.

Some of the others achieved limited success, mostly going back two decades....a list that weakens your point. Think before you post you dafty. ;)

LImited success hahaha.

Henry was at Juve for 6 months.

Only one who didn't win anything on the list was Okocha.

and the modest ones in that list Ginola was player of the year twice (nufc and spurs) and lebeouf was part of the chelsea side that won 2 fa cups league cup and a cup winners cup and he played in the wc final in 1998.

The rest on that list you don't need to google they won trophies home and abroad and won world cups/euros and players of the year.

So yeah Ligue 1 players have been just as good if not better than spanish german italian portuguese imports.

Mostly last century though...awkward!

Think before you type you big dafty, just told you that.

Next you'll be saying the Scotch league is good cos Dalgliesh, Souness and Sharp were bought from there. Times change unfortunately.

French league is renowned for producing modern day flops. Sorry if this is painful for you, you'll just have to accept it.

And kopites say we overspent on Pickford lol lol lol

He will never get the hype Allison gets, but we were questioned for spending 30 Mill on a keeper already proven in the prem at the time who has gone on to be England’s number 1 and one of the best keepers at the World Cup. They’re being praised for spending over double that on a keeper who was poor in last season’s CL and poor in the World Cup as well as being completely untested in the prem.

Liverpool spending absolute millions on quality players whilst we have to sell players and no deals are imminent, according to our local paper.

What a depressing time to support us.

Feels like we’ve just given up on trying to compete and are happy enough with our midtable place.

The lack of transfers and any news at all about the progression on the stadium is just typical of this club.
Happens all the time, Liverpool spend big, the star player gets flogged, they are a selling club like most clubs.
