I agree mate they won't sniff it. Lets be honest we expected them to win against Palace and given the money they and players in their side but City, Chelsea are a different proposition. As the song goes, Kopite's are. Relax and enjoy the delusion.

Well they won their three seasons in a row since crystanbul, so they've spent £150m since last season and are still just as desperate. I love the delusion, always cracks me up.

Pressure will get to them, going into the season getting classed as title contenders and all the questions post match questions about last nights win being a marker put to City.......after 2 games is utterly embarrising.

Houllier was on the radio before the match saying every team has dips throughout the season and when City have theors Liverpool need to pounce. No mention of Liverpool potentially having a dip

It all ramps up the pressure, then the fans ramp up the pressure, a couple if poor results and the manager feels the pressure. City are miles ahead of them, then its between the rs, chelsea, spurs and utd to fight it out for 2nd, 3rd or 4th spot.

Listening to the commentary last night it seems the league is a one horse race with the rs being horse no1 .
Little mention of Man city or Spurs or Chelsea.
And if manure manage to keep in touching distance till Zidane takes over at Christmas and has a good window you never know.

well their mutant fanbase cost them the title a few seasons ago with the added pressure they placed upon them. They had a weak chelsea tema in front of them and they blew it. Football isn't the same since the RS were last successful, there's so much media pressure, scrutiny, financial implications, yet their fans are too thick to realise that. You need your fans to support you, but they don't do that, they demand instead of support, they turn into thugs, and if they even got close this season the same thing would happen again.

Chelsea City and Spurs all have 6 points too. Liverpool have played Palace and West Ham. Absolutely nothing to see here until a good number of games have passed. City’s next 6 on paper all look eminently winnable. Anyone crowning Liverpool champions elect now (which they’ll be falling over themselves to try and do) is very foolish.
