tbh if you’re looking for doping I’d take a look at the injury list
Generally anabolic steroids weaken the tendons by slowing down cartilage formation and increasing the muscle power around it
If there’s details around their injuries look for tendon tears

in terms of football there’s only a couple of steroids that are helpful without ruining your cardio, you’d be looking for something along the lines of equipoise or nandrolone but they’ve got a seriously long detection interval so I don’t think they’d risk it

outside of anabolics is kind of outside my sphere of knowledge tho

People on here say Henderson is a miss I personally think he is one of the weak links in their full strength team. I remember when people used to say Gerrards best position was 10 yards in from Alonso. I think the same can be said of Henderson with Fabinho which is perhaps why Klopp had them playing centre back together. Henderson is one of them players when he's in midfield that needs a more defensive player and a creative player in there with him. I think Thiago the terrible would have ultimately taken his place had all their players stayed fit and Henderson would have been scrapping with Wijnaldum, Keita, Miller and Chamberlain for the last place in the 3.

Whenever they mention the net spend thing, I don't even bother reminding them about the world record fees for defender and goalkeeper. I just go along with it...

Then, once they've firmly established that narrative, I respond with " yeah, it's good to see some underdogs win things" and then compare them to Leicester.

It boils their blood. They have nowhere to go with it. They either acknowledge that it's not some massive underdog story, or they admit to not being one of the big boys. Because while they love to pretend that they're some miracle success story, their egos won't let them not tell you about how much of a bigger club than Leicester they are.
