Yep, spot on.

I think that is also indicative of all the modern 'stats' that come out as well. Trying to overcomplicate a very simple tactic (game). Trying to overcomplicate everything to make it sound like they have this superior football intelligence.

They have to feel special; they have to feel like they are the only ones that have ever thought about playing a ball over the midfield into the channels for a pacey player to run onto and that this indeed is the cleverest thing that any football team has ever done. I am not saying it won't take time on the training pitch to perfect, to the point you are the best at doing it, but it is a simple tactic that a thousand teams have employed over history.

On a sort of related note, it is like all this comparison business and always seems to involve them lot. Arsenal Vs Liverpool, let us have an article to compare Wenger & Klopp, didn't read the article but I assume Klopp won this battle. We are not playing well, let us have a comparison of Jesus (also saw Rashford thrown in on one of them as well) and Nunez to make it out that Nunez is actually so much better than these players.

The industry wont allow Liverpool to be analysed like any midtable team that deploys what is now their house-style.

That's a spurious argument.

You're comparing what a load of Everton fans sang years ago with the murder of footbal fans? And Everton were far from the worst offenders, btw. Look at clubs like Celtic that threw bananas at Mak Walters multiple times, and Liverpool's institutional racism over not playing Irish players until the 80s and that club and its fans backing a racist like Suarez.

Yesterday and today underlines in spades what they are: less a football club and more a freakshow for controversialists.

One title in 33 years would get a football club a lot less exposure than a club that's consistently in the public's view for controversy over their own fans' behaviour and that of others toward them.

I’m saying it’s both dumb and pathetic to label demographics of millions based on the actions of a few, which is exactly what you are doing.

If you are consistant with your logic then you must also think it’s fine to label all muslims as terrorists because a small percentage commit terrorist attacks ?

If Liverpool fans can be blanket labelled as murderers because of a tiny percentage of fans behaviour then your own logic dictates it’s fine to label all Evertons fans as racist because of a tiny percentage of our fans behaviour.
