Spot on but as you say, some how, some way they'll win it. But if only..

Salah is an absolute ego maniac who genuinely sees himself up there with Messi and Ronaldo. He’s wanted Madrid or Barca to come in for him for ages but now that they’ve all seen that without the drugs he’s absolutely rubbish they won’t be touching him. He’s not going to accept going to a lesser league even if they pay him a load of money.

Just need him to sulk out the rest of his contract so they can’t afford to buy anyone new and he just becomes a problem for them.

He should have been kicking and screaming about four years ago if he wanted that move because he genuinely was up there with the very best in the world then. Now? No way. And not on those wages unless he want to exit his career in the Saudi or something, which he might well do tbh.
