ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I think he's refeerring to the t-shirts that the team wore, the out cry by your fans that it was all a conspiracy by the FA, everyone wanted to keep you down blah blah.

I don't know how old you are mate, but my elder Liverpool fans have said the following: if Peter Robinson was still running the club, Suares would have been out the door in the blink of an eye.

I've also heard its a bit of a gastpo at Anfield nowadays; peoples season tickets getting revoked, stewards acting like the SS and querying people on where they got their ticket from etc etc.

2 of my associates have got ongoing battles with your beloved club for mistreatment by stewards for the above reasons
That's not Suarez's fault though.

I can't comment on the rest.

Here is the response to the graffiti done by LFC 'fans' on the Liam Whelan bridge in Dublin...

Nobody has said that it was Suarez's fault that he has become bigger than the club.

Thats your fault, as fans. Its daglieshes fault for such a huge error in judgement. It's Rodgers fault for giving him the armband.

It is essentially everybodys fault, except for Suarez. Now that bit, I have absolutely no doubt you do understand...........

Your manager demanded his players wore a t-shirt in support of racist behaviour. After all of this, after dragging your name through the dirt, you give him the offer of huge riches, and let him be Captain.

You have placed that Bellend in a list alongside Gerrard, Hansen, Dagliesh. all this just to keep him happy. By doing it you have devalued what it is to be the leader of your club, the talisman, the focal point.

That is why Suarez has become bigger than the club.
I honestly think that is the club's fault because they handled the situation so poorly. They didn't have the right people or even structure in place to handle negative PR situations that arise. Compare our shambles to how Chelsea handled the Terry case at the same time, which was much more clear cut but is rarely spoken about. They gave us a lesson in how to protect the image of a football club. The good news is that I think tough lessons have been learned and this year has been a great improvement.

It was amateur hour wasn't it mate, do your really think they would have reacted the same way had it not been a star player, like how that reserve keeper was volleyed out the club when he giggled at the hillsborough memorial? Their all business models now though and the end of the day Suarez was an asset they felt worth protecting, rather than any moral stance being made, much like Chelsea

If the same thing happened again the lesson learned would just be to protect the racist but with much better PR.

Give me a break.

How does Ferguson's countless acts of thuggery differ from Suarez biting. They are both detestable acts and I no way condone what he did, but at the end of the day you support your players. To say he has become bigger than the club is ridiculous; did Ferguson become bigger than Everton? Of course not.

WE never wore t-shirts when duncan was sent to prison. Something really cultish about that episode. Another difference is that Suarez is just the snide's snide. the perfectly horrible footballer.

Don't get me wrong, if he was a blue i'd probably forgive his toe stamping, chest kicking, injury faking, full back biting, diving and black man abusing ways.

But he isn't blue, he's red so I'll use it to point out all his indiscretions and how you people wilfully ignore them.
