From Friday's Telegraph........Dejan Lovren has been ordered to return to Southampton on Sunday by new manager Ronald Koeman.
 
suarez will flop at barca.

he'll probably bag 15-18 goals in the league but all against the spanish norwich's. surely they didn't spend more on him than they did on neymar? astounding if true.

he's never done it in the big games and not at the big moments. 0 goals in 7 games last season against the best 3 teams he played.

he'll get desperate and start cheating and diving to win pens when his talent can't do it, it's what he's always done in his career. he has very little experience of playing in CL and never played at a club anywhere near as demanding as barca.

lets just say when the big games come around vs real etc i won't be surprised if he does nothing.

He put four past us in three seasons. Two past United. Three past Spurs.

Also seem to recall him doing pretty well against England at the World Cup. That not a big game ?

I think you're overlooking the fact that when playing for Liverpool he was the best player on the pitch, clearly the best teams in the league would work to shut him down. When he's playing at Barcelona with Messi and Neymar with him that won't happen.
 

The way they both play, I think a team with both Sturridge and Lukaku in would struggle to get the best out of either. I'd also be very surprised if Chelsea sold to Liverpool. They sold Mata to Man U because I think they knew he wouldn't significantly improve them and they were happy to pay over the odds, whereas Lukaku I think would genuinely improve Liverpool, so unless they offered ridiculous money, I wouldn't see Chelsea selling to them.

most of those you have mentioned are against one man - jagielka. he'll find a norwich to pick on in la liga, like he'll find a jagielka, doesn't mean he'll do against teams like bayern and madrid.

the main reason he stood out so much vs england was because of stevie slippard. england finished bottom of their group with a bit of wimper, same amount of points as iran - not quite a great barometer of big team is it - england aren't anywhere close to where they use to be.

all opinions though, we'll just wait and see. i was looking a bit bigger than england's 6th and 7th best teams.

bony would be a much better partner for sturridge imo.
