ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Suarez couldn't get out of LFC quick enough yet the fans and players (and Rodgers) still stick up for him. Dragged them through the mud and back again and made them into laughing stocks.

LFC the battered wives of world football... he's a changed man, he won't do it again, he loves me I know he does blah blah blah.

There is definately something very Stockholm about the groupthink over there - not only with Suarez and his antics, but also with Mascherano when he jibbed them off; wheras someone who behaved honestly like Torres or McManaman got loads.

With Alice?

Roma bangs one in at the 90th minute at Fenway.

"Ha Ha" - Nelson

Fenway actually looks pretty good as a football pitch. The Patriots used to play there fifty years ago.
Borini apparently got injured and was taken off too. No clue why Rodgers would play him and risk that if he's trying to ship him out.

Agger (pretty much) OG. LOL. He's in midseason form.

Cue the Liverpool fans invading and "mocking" us for "celebrating". 'Highlight of yer season you bitters'

This is a bizarre article about how savvy FSG, Henry and Liverpool were when they decided to get rid of Suarez because he was approaching the end of his peak, because he was a liability, and because they had had enough of him, and it was the right time.... Ignoring of course that they tried desperately to keep him and they had no choice because Barca activated the buyout clause.

Luis Suárez’s exit from Liverpool was astonishingly fast. Giorgio Chiellini was probably still rubbing his shoulder when Liverpool owner John W. Henry and Fenway Sports Group decided they had had enough
