Brenda's right about one thing: St Stevie Meee epitomises Liverpewl Futball Klub to a tee - all that's rotten and rancid about that lot is embodied in him; his utter hypocrisy, his prolonged record of thuggery on and off the pitch, the sanctimonious sh*te he spouts about others, the self-serving sentimental claptrap surrounding his career and achievements, etc etc.

He's a Poundland Roy-of-the-Rovers who thinks he's bigger than the club - and the lemmings indulge him in his delusion. They'll ordain him with some sort of coaching / management role soon enough and I'll laugh my head off when it backfires. There's no way he's got enough nous to instill tactical discipline into a team when he doesn't even possess any of it himself. He's a fraud and a gobsh*te though, so Klanfield is right where he belongs.

Standing tall: The Steven Gerrard waxwork at Anfield
London Evening Standard
Updated: 12:45, 14 May 2015

With Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard set to play his last game at Anfield this weekend, Madame Tussauds Blackpool have marked the occasion by taking a statue of the club icon on a tour of the city.

The 34 year-old is set to join LA Galaxy this summer after 17 years playing in front of the Kop.

The statue, which perfectly captures Gerrard's trademark sullen disposition, was whisked across Liverpool stopping off at landmarks including the Liver Buildings, the Mersey and Anfield before a farewell at the John Lennon Airport.

Matthew Titherington, General Manager at Madame Tussauds Blackpool said: “It will be sad to see Steven head to America, he is a true sporting legend, standing pride of place in our attraction. We wish him all the best at L.A Galaxy. He will always be a well loved part of our attraction.”

I'm hoping someone has put that young man down because that's bloody shocking. I can't even laugh tbh because I know the poor sod has actually taken time out of his life to work on that and it's genuine. WTF. I mean seriously WTF is going on there.

Watch every single norwegian player dive all over the shop this weekend knowing they will get soft penalties - its inevitable.

* Checks odds on Gerrard to score pen.

Ha Ha Ha.

Statues of underachievers. Is Robbie Savage's done yet?

Well in boxhead, all those league titles. Take a bow lad, you deserve it.
